Job Description

Position Purpose: The Sales Executive, a member of Shred-its sales team, is responsible for direct sales of Shred-it's services to potential and existing customers within an assigned territory. This role involves managing all aspects of the sales process, including pipeline development, qualifying opportunities, managing the sales cycle, closing orders, and ensuring revenue generation. The Sales Executive maintains adherence to Shred-it's policies, standards, practices, and values both within and outside their territory. The territory will cover San Francisco/Foster City, Mill Valley, Larkspur, and Marin. Key Job Activities: Aggressively sell document destruction services to prospective customers in the assigned territory. Develop and set specific, measurable sales targets with the District Sales Manager on a monthly and annual basis. Build and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities within the territory. Create and execute a sales strategy tailored to the territory. Maintain expertise in Shred-it services and competitive solutions. Generate leads through cold calling, door-to-door visits, appointment setting, and direct mail campaigns. Participate in all sales and training programs provided by Shred-it. Implement best practices to effectively sell Shred-it solutions. Contribute to special projects and promotional campaigns as directed by the District Sales Manager. Report daily activities and sales results to the District Sales Manager. Follow security and safety policies related to operations and report concerns. Engage with customers to understand their needs regarding products and services. Establish and nurture relationships with current and potential customers. Exceed customer expectations by providing helpful expertise. Perform additional duties as assigned. Experience (North America & LATAM): Post-secondary education preferred but not required. 1-2 years of sales experience or prospecting in B2B services preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet skills. Knowledge of sales theories and cycles. Ability to travel within the sales territory. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
